Yes. We have just about every song ever produced, including the newest music. In the rare event we do not have a song you’d like to hear, we’ll either track it down or allow you to provide it for us. As always, we DO NOT charge our customers for music we have to find.

We generally show up 2 hours before any event to set up the equipment and make sure everything sounds and looks perfect. We ALWAYS bring plenty of back-up equipment just in case.
At minimum, our DJ’s have 10 years experience and have performed at several hundred events. With that said, we’re still a young company with high energy and a strong passion for Disc Jockeying. Our DJ’s are hand selected from within the Westchester County area and are highly trained to perform at any event. Many of our DJ’s also have nightlife experience and bring a high-energy dynamic to private events to keep your dance floor packed.
Yes! You may provide us with as much musical direction as you’re comfortable with. We always want to know the specific songs that mean a lot to you, your friends and your families. In the same respect, you could give us no music direction and we’re confident enough to still rock your party. We also request a DO NOT play list as well, which is equally as important to us. We generally do not accept music requests from guests unless the host/couple requests that we do and if the request falls within the genres of music being played that day.
Turntable Events is based in Westchester County, NY and service all parts of the NYC Metro area including NJ, Hudson Valley NY, Rockland County NY, Stamford CT, Fairfield County and parts of New England. We generally do not charge a travel fee within this area.
No, we don’t believe in advertising at your wedding. It’s unprofessional and will affect your photographs. Our setup in non-intrusive and asthetically pleasing.
Unfortunately, we’re unable to invite anyone to a private event in the same way we would not invite someone to yours. We do have plenty of references you’re welcome to contact or you may read the great testimonials on our site.
Yes, we perform many events every year that involve multiple age and cultural backgrounds and can always find the right blend of music to suit everyone’s tastes. You’re always welcome to provide any music in the rare event we do not have a song.
Our staff will be professionally dressed to meet or exceed the attire standards for your event. From designer suits to black ties and tuxedos, style and sophistication are never an issue with our staff.
Yes, we are fully insured to perform at any venue for over $1,000,000 and can email or fax over our proof of insurance document to your event venue within minutes.
Turntable Events does not subcontract out events and would never send a DJ who is either unqualified or unfamiliar with your musical interests for your event. Turntable Events is comprised of a tight-knit staff of DJ’s and MC’s who work personally with each client to deliver performances that last a lifetime.
Unfortunately, some venues work on a kick-back system and refer vendors for monetary reasons. Turntable Events does not believe in paying for referrals. We believe our work should speak for itself along with the reviews of our previous clients.
Great Question! We use the best DJ equipment on the market today. From the Technics 1200 turntables, Rane 57 Mixer, JBL Self-Powered speakers, Shure Wireless Microphones, we only use equipment that have proven track records for reliability and performance. Even with all of the top-of-the-line equipment we bring to every event, we are ALWAYS prepared with backup equipment, just in case.
